RTD Moves To Weekend Service Schedule

To support the stay at home order for the State of California, San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) will operate the weekend schedule during weekdays as well as weekends. The new schedule took effect on Monday, March 23.

“This was a difficult but necessary choice to make due to these unprecedented circumstances,” said RTD CEO Gloria Salazar. “As a public service agency, we want to provide essential service to those in need while encouraging all those who can stay at home to do so.”

RTD will continue to offer weekend service until further notice. To protect bus operators and passengers during this time of social distancing, RTD asks that all passengers who do not require accommodation to board through the rear of the bus. Passengers in wheelchairs may still use the front door. This is among other precautions RTD is implementing to ensure the safety of its operators and the public.

To stay up-to-date on any additional changes to RTD’s service or programs, visit www.sjRTD.com, follow RTD on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or call (209) 943-1111.

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) is the regional transit provider for San Joaquin County. RTD’s mission is to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient transportation system for the region.
