1:36 a.m. – Suspicious person, Yosemite and Justin, log note only.

4:32 a.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, carrying a flashlight and backpack, 2400 block Jessica; unable to locate.

6:53 a.m. – Security check, Escalon Community Center, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; no problems noted.

7:22 a.m. – Check of subject, appears to be sleeping in the 2100 block of Main; log note only.

10:20 a.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 1500 block Countrywood; false alarm.

11:41 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Santa Fe and River; accidental dial, secure.

12:48 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, 1500 block Yosemite; checks OK.

12:55 p.m. – Pedestrian stop, San Miguel and Plaza; checks OK.

1:08 p.m. – Found property report, 1900 block McHenry.

1:46 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, area of Third and Main; gone on arrival.

7:03 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, subjects in area with flashlight, on Clough; gone on arrival.

10:57 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, Miller and Stanislaus, loud music; warned.

11:43 p.m. – Security check, Hogan Park; all secure.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 29

2:42 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1000 block Yosemite; checks OK.

4:34 a.m. – Report of suspicious vehicle, Highway 120 and Campbell; unable to locate.

5:35 a.m. – Burglary alarm sounding, 2500 block Jackson, report taken.

2:12 p.m. – Suspicious subjects reported in the area, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

6:02 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and Campbell; checks OK.

6:22 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, subjects pushing it in the area of First and John; checks OK.

7:09 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, unknown subjects yelling in the area, 2400 block California; report taken.

7:14 p.m. – Vehicle accident, car stuck on railroad tracks at Highway 120 and Plaza; occupants fled vehicle with car then struck by oncoming Amtrak train and demolished.

8:26 p.m. – Non-injury accident, two vehicles involved, Highway 120 and Irwin.

9:03 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2300 block of Jessica; checks OK, child playing with pone, misdial only.

9:08 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and McHenry.

10:33 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department for subjects wanted in carjacking in Modesto, last seen northbound on McHenry.

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 28

2:08 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1100 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

2:16 a.m. – Check of Community Center, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; no problems noted.

4:02 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1300 block Escalon; log note only.

8:54 a.m. – Extra patrol request on Sanchez.

5:35 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, Oakdale Police Department reporting vehicle swerving all over the roadway, westbound on Highway 120; unable to locate.

9:49 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, Hogan Park; checks OK.

11:26 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, check of Escalon Community Center; secure.

11:53 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

 

THURSDAY, DEC. 27

10:55 a.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 500 block Zinfandel; checks Ok.

12:25 p.m. – Found property report, 1700 block Baker.

12:28 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported, 1600 block Brayton; unable to locate.

1:28 p.m. – Suspicious subjects reported in the area, 1800 block Coley; unable to locate.

1:35 p.m. – Possible fraud reported, 2200 block Jackson; report taken.

2:01 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 400 block California; checks OK.

7:47 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the 2400 block of Matthew; checks OK, misdial.

11:24 p.m. – Pedestrian stop, 2200 block Jackson. Report taken.

 

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 26

1:48 a.m. – Be on the lookout issued from CHP Modesto for suspect wanted in fatal shooting of police officer in Newman.

5:10 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 1600 block Fisk; log note only.

6:11 p.m. – Extra patrol request in the 2100 block of Coley.

11:59 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.
