SUNDAY, OCT. 8

2 a.m. – Security check in the area of California due to a prior theft; checks OK. Officers continued to make routine checks throughout the day.

8:48 a.m. – Vandalism complaint, damage to vehicle mirror on Stanislaus Street; report taken. Reporting party also called back later to add damage to taillight to the report.

9:03 a.m. – Follow up at police station regarding receipt for property.

9:40 a.m. – Stolen vehicle report on Mosswood; truck taken sometime overnight.

12:29 p.m. – Stockton CHP reported a be on the lookout for a reckless driver, area of Santa Fe and St. John heading toward the city; unable to locate.

1:52 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from Valdapena Way; problem with phone, secure.

9:42 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department for welfare check in the 9400 block of Biederman.

11:24 p.m. – Security check in the 1200 block of Plaza; checks OK.

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 7

12 a.m. – Extra patrol request in the 2500 block of Jackson; checks OK.

5:38 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint in the 2000 block of McHenry; report taken.

9:24 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 3300 block McHenry; log note only.

11:01 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint on Valdapena; assisted.

2:36 p.m. – Public assist on Jackson; report taken.

4:07 p.m. – Hit and run with property damage, occurred prior, damage to vehicle found after returning home from work; possibly occurred in the 1200 block of Lillian.

4:11 p.m. – Court order violation complaint on Thaddeous.

6:57 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, Ullrey; checks OK.

7:13 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, vehicle speeding near Highway 120 and McHenry; unable to locate.

9:59 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, subject with flashers on vehicle in the area, did not appear to be broken down but attempted to flag down passing motorist, then followed driver along roadway when they didn’t stop, area of Countrywood and St. John. Driver turned down another road and van stopped following them; log note only.

 

FRIDAY, OCT. 6

7:07 a.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to CHP on reported vehicle accident at Highway 120 and Lawrence.

8:40 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2100 block of Arroya; checks secure, accidental dial.

10:51 a.m. – Assault complaint on Thadeous; report taken.

11:24 a.m. – Suspicious person reported, possible door to door solicitor in the area on Ribier; advised. Second report of same subject on Oklahoma at 12:04 p.m.

3:33 p.m. – Public assist on Fir Court.

4:24 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, possible transient seen sleeping near back door of business in the 1400 block of California; warned.

6:49 p.m. – Security check at department shooting range, 25000 block River Road; checks OK.

6:50 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1200 block of Plaza; checks OK, accidental dial.

7:23 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, items taken from a vehicle on California; report taken.

9:39 p.m. – Officer initiated activity at the Park ‘n Ride at Main and Viking; one subject warned regarding camping in the area.

 

THURSDAY, OCT. 5

4:54 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 2000 block McHenry; checks OK.

7 a.m. – Extra patrol request in the 2500 block of Jakson.

9:24 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance in the 1500 block of Yosemite; report taken.

11:12 a.m. – Suspicious person reported, subject ringing doorbell and asking to come inside on Northwood; assisted.

12:29 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from Manteca Police Department for subjects wanted in ‘smash and grab’ theft of jewelry from a store in Manteca; log note only.

3:29 p.m. – Public assist at police station, 2000 block McHenry.

5:40 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, possible crash notification on Mission; log note only.

6:45 p.m. – Harassment complaint involving juveniles; report taken.
