Gathering with fellow law enforcement officers from throughout San Joaquin County, Escalon Police Department Sergeant Nathaniel Vieira, left, and Sergeant Jose Zambrana were in attendance at the recent Peace Officer Memorial event. The ceremony was hosted in Stockton on May 7, honoring those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in the line of duty.
