Escalon’s Trinity Church – Assembly of God will host the first of its two monthly free dinners tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Stop by the church for a free meal, offered to all in the community as a way to help make ends meet.

Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and the church is at 1900 California St., Escalon. The last two Wednesdays of each month are set aside for the free meal.

Originally started as part of the church’s ‘Love Escalon’ initiative, the meal is open to all and the church also opens its adjacent Clothes Closet at 6:30 p.m. the night of the dinners for those that need clothing. The menu for dinner varies from week to week.
