The annual Escalon United Methodist Church two-day yard sale was hosted as part of the long Labor Day holiday weekend. Top photo, shoppers peruse the many tables jam packed with everything from household items to cookware, clothing to books. At side, one area was set aside to focus specifically on winter-Christmas decorations. The sale ran both Friday and Saturday, Sept. 1 and 2. Church members donate their surplus goods to the sale, with proceeds benefitting the church. Items not sold are donated to local charities.
