The City of Escalon along with the San Joaquin Council of Governments is sponsoring an unmet transit needs public hearing to hear from its residents’ comments regarding how transit services can be provided better in Escalon and to other areas in San Joaquin County. This hearing is held on an annual basis. Once transit needs are met, the Transportation Development Act (TDA) funding that is used to operate and maintain eTrans is then distributed to fund roadway, bicycle and pedestrian projects within the city limits.
