Average retail gasoline prices in Modesto have risen 3.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.69/gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 201 gas outlets in Modesto. This compares with the national average that has increased 3.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.32/gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com. Including the change in gas prices in Modesto during the past week, prices Monday were 69.7 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 8.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
