A couple of Super Bowl Sunday events are scheduled in Escalon, starting with the annual Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club omelet breakfast and a new Panther Run hosted at El Portal Middle School.
The breakfast will be offered in the Escalon High School cafeteria, with Rotary Club members serving up omelets made to order, along with muffins, sweet rolls, fruit, juice and coffee, all you can eat for $8.50 per ticket. The omelets are cooked up fresh; you choose the fillings from a variety of veggies and meat.
Proceeds benefit the Rotary scholarship program, with scholarships provided each year to graduating Escalon High School seniors. Breakfast hours are 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 and tickets will be available at the door.
