From First Street to California, from Sophie Lane to Yosemite, shoppers had a heyday on Saturday. It was Escalon’s annual City Wide Yard Sale and, along with the roughly 100 addresses listed on the map for sales, others were available at a variety of locations, with some multi-family sales and local venues providing a showcase for out-oft-city-limits residents to bring their wares to show and sell. The weather was favorable for a day of shopping, and local streets were at times hazardous to navigate, packed with cars, bicycles, skateboarders and pedestrians, all looking to get some great bargains.
