Special Scheduled Programs Feature Fun For All At Library

Along with a number of regularly scheduled programs, the Escalon Public Library on Second Street will serve up some fun and informative events for the family over the next couple of months.

Join in for a Family Lego Day on Thursday, April 20 at 4 p.m.; come build with legos and share some fun while making memories; open to all ages.

On Tuesday, May 2 at 6 p.m., adults are invited to an Estate Planning Seminar with attorney Julie Richardson of Legal Pathways. The free, one-hour seminar will cover a variety of topics including health care directives, estate planning, power of attorney, protecting your assets and more.

Coming up on Saturday, May 6 it’s another Science Saturday event, this time featuring Bubblesmith Sterling Johnson. The noontime show is open to all ages; come and see this bubblesmith share the science of bubbles.

Later in the month, Uncle Jer’s Traveling Bee Show comes to the library on Saturday, May 20. Also set for noon, the program will provide information about the society of bees, film clips and insight into how a hive works.

Regularly scheduled programs continue each week at the library as well.

Knitting class is Tuesdays at 1 p.m.; Adult Coloring is offered Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Preschool-toddler storytime is offered on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and Makerspace is scheduled Thursdays at 4 p.m.

The library is at 1540 Second St., Escalon and is part of the Stockton-San Joaquin Public Library system.
