For voters in Escalon, the upcoming Municipal General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 7 will feature just two contested races. Both are for entities with a shared San Joaquin-Stanislaus County post up for election. In the Oakdale Irrigation District Division 2 race, incumbent Herman Doornenbal, Jr. is facing a challenge from local farmer/rancher Don Taro.
