A limited number of ‘pre-cruise’ car show nights will take place this summer in Escalon’s Main Street Park. The first of those was hosted by the Escalon Lions Club on May 25, with a couple dozen classics displayed.
The May 25 show will be followed up by additional dates on June 15 and July 20.
Serving as chairman for this year’s special 25th anniversary Autumn Cruise is Mike Powers, who said they want to make sure it is a well-attended event in September. The main show brings hundreds of vehicles to the downtown park, with all the money raised going to finance scholarships for graduating Escalon High School seniors.
