Just two Friday night pre-cruise gatherings remain for the Escalon Lions Club as they move closer to the annual Autumn Cruise in September. Auto enthusiasts can bring their vehicles – or just come to look at those on display – at Hula’s on Friday nights, Aug. 25 and Sept. 1, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year will be the 24th annual Autumn Cruise and proceeds benefit Escalon High School scholarships. About 175 vehicles are already pre-registered for the Sept. 9 downtown cruise, and more information is available by contacting John Salvin at 209-838-7077.
