Baker, who is scheduled to attend California Ag Day today – March 16 – at the State Capitol, will let legislators know what her group does, including working with veterans having readjustment issues and utilizing rescued retired racehorses to work with the veterans. The Healing Arenas Stable Survivor Project partners with the Modesto Vet Center to help veterans and Baker said they ae also developing a new Stable Practitioners program in hopes of becoming a continuing education provider.
