First Mobile Office Hours Set For 2018

Tuesday, Jan. 9 is the date for Escalon residents to have a chance to meet with Congressman Jeff Denham in the local area.

Denham, (R-Turlock), recently announced Mobile District Office (MDO) hours for the month of January, 2018 where 10th district residents can get help with specific casework or ask questions.

MDOs are hosted by staff and, when possible, by Rep. Denham. Staff members are available to assist 10th district residents with casework on matters including Medicare, Veteran’s Affairs, Social Security, the Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies.

The stop in Escalon is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Escalon City Hall, 2060 McHenry Ave., and is being held in conjunction with Assemblyman Heath Flora’s office.

Additional stops in the region, for those that can’t make the Jan. 9 session in Escalon, include one on Friday, Jan. 5 in Oakdale, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at State Senator Tom Berryhill’s office, 102 Grove Ave., Suite B, being hosted in conjunction with Senator Tom Berryhill and Assemblyman Heath Flora’s offices.

On Tuesday, Jan. 23, the MDO will be in Ripon from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ripon Chamber of Commerce, 104 S. Stockton Ave., Ripon.

Denham represents California’s 10th congressional district, which includes Stanislaus County and a portion of San Joaquin County. He is the chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials and also serves on the House Committees on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
