It is now possible to visit the best art gallery that you have probably never heard of … San Joaquin Regional Transit District’s Downtown Transit Center (DTC).

The DTC station and board room walls have come to life with the vibrancy and imagination of local artists; thanks to Art Expressions of San Joaquin. The lobby area benefits from being bathed in generous streams of ever changing light that flow through atrium windows, making it the perfect place to exhibit and view art.

“We’re very excited to have Art Expressions of San Joaquin working with RTD as a valued partner to provide a delightful experience for all who visit our Downtown Transit Center,” said CEO Donna DeMartino. “Providing a venue for local artists is one more way the RTD serves our community.”

The Downtown Transit Center is at 421 E. Weber Ave., Stockton.

The art exhibit also comes at virtually no cost to RTD. Art Expressions of San Joaquin is displaying the works for free. Plus, artwork can be taken home for a modest price. The artists, Art Expressions, RTD, and most importantly, RTD’s valued guests all benefit from showcasing the talented artists that live in San Joaquin County.
