You still have a little time left to donate to ‘Expressions of Love’ to help the less fortunate in the community.

Items are being collected by a Dent Elementary fourth grade class, including hygiene items, individually wrapped candies, blankets and non-perishable food, to donate as part of a Valentine’s Day project.

The items will be presented to representatives from St. Mary’s Dining Room and the Center for a Non-Violent Community. Donations can be dropped off at the school or contact Tracey Miller at 595-6735. Arrangements can be made with her for donations from the community; all the donations will be presented in the classroom on Feb. 11.

Students opted to forego their traditional Valentine’s party with games and prizes to help out those in need.
