California Community Colleges Chancellor Dr. Brice W. Harris will visit San Joaquin Delta College on Wednesday, Feb. 24, for a Chancellor’s Circle meeting. Dr. Harris and Chancellor’s Circle attendees will tour Delta’s Science and Math Building, Caterpillar Program, and L.H. Horton Art Gallery from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The invitation-only Chancellor’s Circle meeting will take place at 12 p.m. in DeRicco 275. Delta’s Culinary Arts Program will provide lunch for the guests.

Chancellor’s Circle meetings are comprised of college presidents, community and campus leaders, and philanthropists from the surrounding region who support initiatives that advance the goals of California Community Colleges. Topics will likely include an analysis of the state budget, the impact of the Student Success Initiative and statewide data tools like the Student Success Scorecard and SalarySurfer.com. Wednesday’s meeting is organized by the Foundation for California Community Colleges, in partnership with San Joaquin Delta College.
