As we enter the cold weather season please be sure to remember to stay hydrated. Common colds turn from a minor inconvenience to a serious illness when our patients have stopped drinking water. Colder temperatures cause our bodies to increase its metabolism which also can dehydrate. Drink plenty of fluids during the cold weather unless your Doctor has you on fluid restriction. If you are unsure please call and ask your physician.
