Blood Drive At Christian Reformed

Blood supplies often suffer due to busy schedules around the holidays but donors can give at an upcoming Community Blood Drive in Escalon, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 12. The drive will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church, 2203 California St., Escalon. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Also, Blood Donation Centers in Modesto and Stockton are open on a regular basis for donations. Modesto Blood Donation Center is at 1900 W. Orangeburg Ave., Modesto; while the North Stockton Blood Donation Center is at 2888 West March Lane, Stockton.

 

Good News Club

A new, free After School Good News Club is now being offered each Wednesday at Trinity Church. The Good News Club is open to boys and girls in second through fifth grades and features non-denominational Bible-based teaching with Bible stories, activities, songs, snacks, crafts and more. EUMC Bazaar Shopping

There’s still plenty of time to pick up a pie, jam or hostess/Christmas gift for the upcoming holidays. Escalon United Methodist Church, which previously hosted its annual holiday bazaar and luncheon, will open their Fellowship Hall at 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon, every Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. for shoppers to come in and peruse and purchase the items. Shopping hours will be offered each Sunday through Dec. 17.
