Chambers Pours On Fun In Downtown Wine Stroll

Escalon Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual wine stroll this week, with the Country and Western Stroll set for Friday night, May 13.

Tickets are available at a variety of downtown businesses and the stroll itself runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday along Main Street. A portion of the street will be closed down for the festivities and along with a number of wineries pouring their varietals, there will be food and snack selections designed to accompany specific wines, music, craft booths, socializing and plenty of fun.

The annual event looks to be in luck this year, with weather forecasters predicting sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-80s on Friday, cooling down just a bit for the evening.

Pre-sale tickets are $25; cost is $30 at the event. For questions or more information, contact Annie at Cromwell & Ney, 209-838-3561 or Pat Brown at the Chamber office, 209-838-2783.

Proceeds benefit the Chamber programs, including scholarships, and tickets can also be purchased through the website at escalonchamberofcommerce.org.
