Dent Elementary School, at 1998 Yosemite Ave., Escalon, will be the site for a car seat checkup event on Thursday, Oct. 26. No appointment is necessary; stop by anytime during the event, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Learn how to install your child’s car seat or booster seat. Find out if it’s time for a change.

All are welcome to join in for the car seat inspection event with nationally certified technicians who can help you correctly install your car seat.

The program is being put on through a cooperative effort of San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Safe Kids San Joaquin County, the California Office of Traffic Safety and Head Start San Joaquin.
