Escalon teacher Dixie Tirre, right, has finished sending the collection jar around her fourth period classroom and hands it off to FFA member Addyson Luis, as the FFA continues its fundraiser for the Escalon Animal Shelter. Final collection is due tomorrow, Feb. 25, with the top donating fourth period classes earning pizza parties. Money raised will help animals at the local shelter, providing funds for food and supplies. Prior to the mid-winter break last week, leaders were the fourth period class of Rissetto/Vrieling, with FFA advisor Jennifer Terpstra’s class in second.
