The Escalon American Legion Post 263 is getting ready for its annual Armed Forces Day Breakfast.

The event is set for Saturday, May 17 at the American Legion Hall, 1531 Second St., Escalon. Breakfast hours are 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.; the menu features pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, linguica, fruit cup, milk, juice and coffee.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for kids 12 and under. The meal is free to active duty personnel, just show your ID card.

The Post will also be welcoming Chamber of Commerce officials that day for a mixer, during a portion of the breakfast hours.
