Members of the Escalon Historical Society and visitors from throughout the community enjoyed a recent special display at the Main Street location. Theme was ‘The Forgotten Italian’ and the display highlighted many community members with some Irish heritage and their accomplishments in and around the area. Among the notable residents included in the display were Angelo and Tom Dugo, Christopher and Emma Colombo, and Frank Cavalieri. The Escalon Historical Society Museum, at 1630 Main Street, is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.
