Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 22 calls for service during the period of Monday, July 10 through Sunday, July 16. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JULY 16

1:21 a.m. – Structure fire reported, 16000 block Steinegul; responded for a structure fire call, arrived on scene and found a quarter-acre grass fire with two structures threatened. Extinguished, no extension into structures.

5:46 a.m. – Outside fire reported, First and Main; responded to call but the small fire in a planter box had been extinguished by Escalon Police prior to arrival.

9:56 a.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block Edwards.

4:43 p.m. – Alarm sounding, 21000 block Highway 120; canceled prior to arrival.

6:10 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 24000 block River Road.

SATURDAY, JULY 15

8:54 a.m. – Structure fire reported, Carrolton and Highway 120; responded with Ripon, canceled prior to arrival, call was actually an illegal burn, no structures involved.

1:08 p.m. – Water rescue, 7000 block First Street in Riverbank; assist to Stanislaus County.

3:30 p.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

4 p.m. – EMS, 400 block Cardinal.

9:43 p.m. – Electrical hazard reported, 17000 block Steinegul; electrical lines down across a house, notified PG&E and stayed on scene until utility crews arrived.

11:58 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Highway 99 northbound at Main Street in Ripon; mutual aid call, canceled prior to arrival.

FRIDAY, JULY 14

4:06 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, 1000 block Yosemite; one patient transported.

8:15 p.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block Edwards.

THURSDAY, JULY 13

7:28 a.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block Edwards.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 12

12:21 p.m. – Structure fire, 15000 block Lone Tree; in Ripon District, Water Tender 1-1 responded to assist. Fire was in trees, no structure involved.

3:33 p.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

4 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block California.

TUESDAY, JULY 11

9:26 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

12:01 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Yosemite.

6:07 p.m. – Child locked in a vehicle, 1300 block Miller; assisted.

MONDAY, JULY 10

2:54 p.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

8:21 p.m. – Gas leak from a stove reported, 1300 block Dent; no leak detected.
