Principal, Escalon High School

May has arrived, and the finish line of the school year is right in front of us! At Escalon High School, this final stretch is one of the most meaningful and memorable times of the year, filled with accomplishment, reflection, and a strong sense of Cougar pride.

Our campus is alive with activity. From athletic playoffs to performances and classroom projects, students are engaged in experiences that highlight both their talents and their growth. These moments reflect the hard work, resilience, and commitment that our students and staff have demonstrated all year long.

This time of year also brings a number of important academic milestones. Many of our students will participate in Advanced Placement (AP) Exams, giving them the opportunity to earn college credit and demonstrate their learning at a high level. At the same time, all students are preparing for final exams, which represent the culmination of a full year of effort and progress in the classroom. It is important that students remain focused, manage their time effectively, and continue to communicate with their teachers as they work toward a strong finish.

In addition to academics, we embrace the many opportunities to recognize and celebrate our students. We honor their accomplishments at events such as Senior Signing Night and the Teacher’s Choice Awards, both held in our new gym, as well as our Cougar Excellence Awards during the school day. Students will also be recognized through Honor Roll celebrations, and we will conclude with our Senior Awards Night, an invite-only event that highlights the outstanding achievements of our graduating class.

For our seniors, this final chapter is filled with traditions and experiences that make their last weeks at Escalon High School truly unforgettable. Events such as Grad Night, including the senior trip to Disneyland, along with prom, Senior Sunset, and our end-of-the-year rally, give students the opportunity to celebrate together and reflect on their high school journey. One of the most meaningful traditions is the Senior Walk, where our graduates return to our elementary schools, inspiring younger students while taking time to reflect on how far they have come. These experiences all lead to the most important milestone of all; graduation, where we will proudly celebrate the Class of 2026 as they take their next steps.

As always, we are grateful for the continued support of our parents and community. Your partnership plays a vital role in the success of our students and the strength of our school. Together, we are creating an environment where all students can thrive.

The final weeks of the school year are always special at Escalon High School. They serve as a reminder of how much our students have grown and all that lies ahead. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments and honoring the Class of 2026 over the next few weeks.

It is truly a great time to be a Cougar.
