This summer was full of fun, sun and Ag Fest.

This year’s Ag fest was a blast not only for the thousands of people who came to watch but also for the members of the Escalon FFA chapter who got to show off all their hard work in the ring. This was a successful year for our chapter with almost everyone who competed taking home a ribbon. We are all super proud of the hard work these members have put in and would like to congratulate all of those who won.

Our goat showmen did an amazing job winning Champion Chapter Group along with four of our goats in the champion drive, Trenton Nascimento winning second in Advanced Dairy Goat Showmanship, Evan Bava winning Greenhand Goat Showmanship, and Erin Grogan winning True Novice Goat Showmanship. We are super proud of Abigail Corriea and Natalie Bianchi for placing second and sixth in Advanced Sheep Showmanship.

The Escalon FFA Dairy group won 1st Chapter Group with Austin Terra winning Champion Junior Grade AOB, Alayna Azevedo winning Greenhand Class, and Gracie Azevedo and Logan Webster winning Grand and Reserve Champion FFA Replacement Heifers and many more. Another big congratulations to Rowan Murphy for taking home Supreme Grand Steer. Congrats to all those in dairy where everyone from Escalon was in the top seven.

Congratulations to all those who competed and to those who won, it’s amazing to see our members’ work hard at something they are passionate about. Overall, the Escalon FFA did an amazing job at Ag Fest 2018; we could not be any prouder and we hope to see you there next year.
