2:35 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check in the area of James and California; log note only.

2:59 a.m. – Downtown security check, area secure.

3:58 a.m. – Check of Main Street Park area; no problems noted.

4:43 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, check of Dent Elementary campus on Yosemite; secure.

12:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, officer initiated activity on Daniels; log note only.

10:35 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint in the area of Highway 120 and Sexton; warned.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 22

4:21 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check in the area of Main and Viking; checks OK.

5:12 a.m. – Security check at El Portal Middle School, 800 block First; checks OK.

7:35 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle in the Paddack Village Shopping Center on Jackson; checks OK.

8:35 p.m. – Vehicle accident, car stuck on tracks near Highway 120 and Yosemite struck by train, driver had gotten out of the vehicle prior to impact. No injuries reported.

 

THURSDAY, APRIL 21

12:14 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance on Pioneer; log note only.

2:54 a.m. – Check of suspicious vehicle on Lillian; checks OK.

3:32 a.m. – Check of suspicious vehicle at Noni and Riesling; warned.

9:11 a.m. – Suspicious person, possible transient reported in the area of Park and Pioneer; report taken.

12:46 p.m. – Fraud complaint, via online account, on Swanson report taken.

2:13 p.m. – Complaint filed at police station regarding possible sales of counterfeit handbags; report taken.

2:28 p.m. – Fraud complaint at business on Jackson; report taken.

3:05 p.m. – Complaint on Second and Coley; assisted.

4:35 p.m. – Garbage can fire reported on Walnut.
