Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 18 calls for service during the period of Monday, April 21 through Sunday, April 27. Calls included:
SUNDAY, APRIL 27
3:55 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, reported along Highway 120 east; Engine 1-1 responded with three patients ultimately being transported to San Joaquin General Hospital. A large quantity of fluid spilled on the roadway was also tended to by Engine 1-1 crew.
10:21 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 29000 block East River Road.
3:07 p.m. – EMS call, 1300 block San Joaquin Street.
4:12 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Victory and Highway 120; single vehicle struck a pole and went off the roadway into the SSJID canal, one occupant out of the vehicle and refused treatment, fire units cleared by Sheriff’s Department personnel on scene.

6:09 p.m. – Vegetation fire reported, 24000 block River Road; responded for an unknown type fire, crews located a burn pile on scene, extinguished.

7:27 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Edmart.

11:11 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block State Highway 120, cross of Van Allen Road.
11:20 a.m. – Carbon monoxide alarm sounding, 16000 block South Escalon-Bellota Road; unable to locate any problems on site.
1:31 p.m. – Fire alarm, 21000 block Highway 120, determined to be a false alarm.
