12:23 a.m. – Battery reported in the 1700 block of Main; victim not breathing; determined to be deceased.

2:34 a.m. – Shots fired report in the 400 block of First; unable to locate anything.

7:35 a.m. – Public Works call out for street flooding in the 2400 block of Jessica.

8:16 a.m. – Residential alarm sounding in the 1500 block of Countrywood; checks OK.

8:44 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle seen in the area multiple times, Jill and Vine; unable to locate.

12:21 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle in the area of McHenry and Jones; log note only.

7:22 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, 1100 block Yosemite.

9:08 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff on disturbance.



12:10 a.m. – Security check, 1500 block Yosemite.

12:52 a.m. – Extra patrol on Catherine Way.

8:53 a.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call, 27000 block Vine; checks OK.

10:38 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, reported at the police station.

11:24 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint in the area of Dent and California.

5:21 p.m. – Assist outside agency, making contact with subject for San Joaquin County Sheriff in connection with prior battery incident; 1300 block Yosemite.

5:59 p.m. – Public assist to Manteca Police Department.

9:38 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint in the 2000 block of Edmart.

10:35 p.m. – Security check, Escalon Community Center; no problems noted.

11:21 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 2100 block Coley.

11:47 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department for vehicle.



12:04 a.m. – Business alarm sounding in the 1200 block of Yosemite; checks secure.

1:43 a.m. – Officer initiated activity at Highway 120 and Brayton, suspicious vehicle; checks OK.

5:29 a.m. – Security check at Escalon High School; no problems noted.

5:41 a.m. – Security check at El Portal Middle School; no problems noted.

6:05 a.m. – Public assist in the 2100 block of Jackson.

6:09 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1200 block Yosemite; checks OK.

7:22 a.m. – Extra patrol request due to speeding vehicles on First Street.

9:26 a.m. – Public assist at the police station, 2000 block McHenry.

9:43 a.m. – Hit and run with property damage in the area of Catherine and St. John; sign damaged.

11:51 a.m. – Residential burglary reported, 2300 block Jonathon Court; log note only.

12:51 p.m. – Warrant arrest, officer picking up suspect on local warrant at Santa Rita Jail.

1:14 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, reported at police station.

2:58 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 1500 block Yosemite.

5:50 p.m. – Extra patrol on Vine.

5:59 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1300 block Yosemite; area checked, unable to locate anyone.

6:45 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 2400 block Matthew; checks OK.

7:21 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up reported, unable to locate.

8:32 p.m. – Hit and run with property damage, Stanislaus and Yosemite; one dive released on cite and promise to appear.

10:17 p.m. – Welfare check in the area of Judith and Countrywood.

11:57 p.m. – Security check in the 1200 block of Plaza; checks OK.



1:56 a.m. – Extra patrol on Bonds Court.

7:05 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1200 block Yosemite; determined to be false alarm.

8:22 a.m. – Be on the lookout issued from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department for suspect wanted in carjacking incident in Balico that occurred after a vehicle accident. Vehicle last seen headed on Highway 99 near Taylor Road.

9:49 a.m. – Welfare check in the 1100 block of Escalon Avenue.

10:15 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, 2000 block Main Street; follow up.

12:47 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1100 block of Yosemite; determined to be misdial only.

2:11 p.m. – Follow up in the 2100 block of Coley; warning issued regarding municipal code.

5:04 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from an unknown wireless number; checking with phone company regarding additional info.

5:24 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, driver eastbound on Highway 120 reporting a vehicle speeding, estimated at 100 mph; log note only.

9:59 p.m. – Security check at Escalon Post Office, 1800 block Coley; no problems noted.

10:04 p.m. – Extra patrol at Countrywood and Swanson.



12:11 a.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

12:16 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Coley and Third; checks OK.

12:20 a.m. – Check of Post Office on Coley; building secure.

9:20 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 700 block of Danielle; log note only.

10:03 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, vehicle in the area, driver possibly using drugs, area of California and Oklahoma; unable to locate vehicle.

2:53 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1500 block Elizabeth; loud music.

3:33 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2400 block of Jessica Circle; determined to be accidental dial.

4:31 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, chop saw taken from business in the 3300 block of McHenry; report taken.

5:06 p.m. – Welfare check in the 2100 block of Jackson.

5:53 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, driver reported windshield being broken while driving on River Road; uncertain if it was possibly a bullet. Log note only; does not appear to be damage from bullet, driver advised to contact CHP.

9:46 p.m. – Suspicious person at the Escalon Community Center; officer initiated activity in the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

10:35 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

10:49 p.m. – Check of businesses, 1900 block McHenry.

11:13 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, 1200 block of Plaza; checking businesses, secure.
