Coming up on the first Thursday in May, members of the Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club will be gathering at HomeSown Flowers, 30516 Hall Road in Escalon, for a tour.

The event is open to all gardening enthusiasts in the area. Amanda Taylor of HomeSown Flowers will host the meeting, which will be Thursday, May 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Taylor will also serve as the guest speaker; all are invited to come and tour the garden and hear about cut flowers to plant in your own yard.

The tour and speaker are first on the agenda, along with refreshments, and then the business meeting will follow. There will also be door prize drawings, so join in to meet your fellow garden enthusiasts from throughout the region.
