It was a special night on Saturday, July 19 as the Escalon Strong organization was welcomed to Banner Island Ballpark, home of the minor league Stockton Ports, even getting a mention on the left field scoreboard Jumbotron. Stockton is in the California League and is the Single-A affiliate of the Athletics. Here, a row of local fans settles in to enjoy the action, as the Ports hosted the Fresno Grizzlies, the Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The game went to Fresno by a 4-1 final score. A portion of ticket sales for the evening benefited the Escalon Strong organization.
