The Save Mart Companies announced that Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores throughout California’s Central Valley are participating in their annual fundraising campaign to support Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera. The region’s valued healthcare network also has outpatient centers in Modesto, Merced, Bakersfield, Fresno and Visalia. One hundred percent of the donations from the campaign will fund vital research and lifesaving treatment initiatives for children in the local community. The campaign kicked off in stores on Monday, May 23.

“We are humbled to partner once again with Valley Children’s Hospital to support critical research and medical treatment for children in the communities we serve,” said Donovan Ford, senior vice president of retail operations and supply chain at The Save Mart Companies. “All of our Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores in the Central Valley are proud participants and offer shoppers an easy way to donate right at checkout. We appreciate the generosity our shoppers have shown over the years and 100 percent of funds raised support the pediatric hospital services that make a difference to so many young lives throughout the Central Valley.”

Save Mart and FoodMaxx stores throughout San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Tulare, Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tuolumne counties are participating in this year’s campaign. All proceeds will benefit Valley Children’s Hospital.

“Save Mart has been a generous partner supporting Valley Children’s for nearly four decades,” said Robert Saroyan, president of Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation. “We are thrilled that Save Mart continues to invest in the Central Valley’s future by raising funds that help us provide the best care for kids, regardless of their ability to pay.”

Valley Children’s Healthcare has remained committed to ensuring the health and well-being of children and has provided the highest level of care to 1.3 million children since their doors opened in 1952. With the vision to improve access for all children in the Central Valley, Valley Children’s Hospital has extended their pediatric specialty care services throughout the region.
