Village Barber Shop will be hosting its Annual Veteran’s Day Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Village Barber Shop is at 409 Lincoln Center, Stockton.

The day’s activities will include a flyover, disc jockey, raffle and the opportunity to purchase commemorative shirts. Food, provided by Genova Bakery and Lean Feast, will be available for purchase.

“I would have been proud and honored to serve in the USA Military,” stated Bobby Page, Owner of Village Barber. “Unfortunately, due to my hearing, I was not able to. I put on this event to help veterans feel loved, supported and appreciated.”

All proceeds from the event will go to Karl Ross Post 16, ROTC, Delta Patriots Blue Star Moms, Navy ROTC, and Stockton Marine Corp Club. For further details and information on the event, call 209-477-1431 or go to villagebarbershopstockton.com.

A barber for more than 31 years, Page has an undeniable respect for our country’s veterans. The walls of the shop are laden with military photos of his customers and their loved ones, which Page frames and hangs himself. For years, he has supported those who’ve served in various ways, including the annual Veteran’s Day Event at Village Barbershop.
