Cultural Academic Student Exchange (CASE) is currently accepting applications for local families to host international students participating in its high school cultural exchange program.

CASE is the leading not-for-profit sponsor of J-1 exchange students and has been finding homes for international exchange students for over 25 years. CASE places students from over 25 countries for semester-long and academic year-long programs.

CASE places nearly 2000 students per year. Anyone interested in hosting an exchange student can contact CASE through their website, They also can call 1-951-685-9321 for more information.

The students that participate in the CASE program have their own insurance, bring their own spending money and speak English. They are between 15 and 18 years old and wish to attend local high schools in order to make friends, learn more about the American culture, participate in sports, student activities, volunteer in the local community, and most of all, become a lasting member of the host family.

The idea is that the student becomes part of the family. Students and their host families often maintain lifelong bonds. Host families have visited students in their home country, they attend each other’s weddings and some even exchange holiday gifts each year, even years after their programs have ended.
