Start out 2018 with a resolution to enjoy a good old-fashioned monthly breakfast in La Grange.

The Odd Fellows of Lafayette Historical Lodge #65 host a breakfast the second Sunday of each month, at the IOOF Hall in downtown La Grange. Sunday, Jan. 14 is the date this month. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a menu of biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham and cheese omelets and all you can eat pancakes. Complimentary coffee and orange juice round out the meal, all for $6 per adult, $3 for children ages 6 to 12, while those five and under eat for free.

The La Grange Odd Fellows had a very busy year. Besides the monthly breakfast they’ve enjoyed good attendance at annual fundraisers including the Car Show in July and Catfish Dinner in August. A special event was also well attended, the Third Annual Christmas Crafts Fair at the IOOF Hall in December. Organizers are also planning an Enchilada Dinner in the early part of this year.
