At the recent sports awards night in Escalon, several volleyball players were honored, taking part in the first boys volleyball season for the high school.

Members of the varsity boys volleyball team were honored for their contributions to the squad during the inaugural season this spring. Taking home the awards were, from left, Aydun Melo, MVP defense; Ben Ferreira, MVP defense, all-TVL; Mikie Lourenco, MVP Offense, all-TVL; Preston Berhorst, all-TVL.
