Wrapping up play with a trip to Reno, Nevada recently were the girls, Manager and Coaches selected to play on the Escalon All Stars 16U Softball squad. The team traveled to Reno, Nevada for the Pacific Southwest Regional Tournament games earlier this month. A great time was had by all, according to coaches.

The team's first game played was tough, as they played the Babe Ruth National Champs of Lodi. Though the game was a loss, hits were recorded by Alexis Guerra and Adalia Cajias.

The second game was tense with back and forth innings; unfortunately, the Monroe Utah All Stars won by one run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Great pitching and defense were played by Marissa Dominguez, Alexis Guerra, Danielle Sprouse, Sarah Fernandez and Amber Brady with Anastasia Rodriguez behind the plate. Runs for Escalon were scored by Olivia Mangini, Kaitlin DaDalt, and Illiana Cajias; Erica Victorino came through with a bunt for an RBI. LilLana Cajias hit one up the middle in the third inning.

Manager David Cajias and Coaches Don Angle and Audree Mendez would like to thank the families for all their support and the community for participating in fundraisers, helping the team make the trip to Reno.
