Honored for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the playing fields, Escalon High School seniors Ryan Murphy and Genevieve Casazza were presented with the Trans-Valley League Scholar Athlete of the Year awards for Escalon High School at the May 19 Spring Sports Awards program. Murphy was a three-sport athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball for the Cougars; Casazza played golf in the fall and softball in the spring at EHS.
