Winter sports are starting to hit their stride, with teams getting plenty of game and tournament action in, leaving fall in the rearview mirror.
There is one final piece of the fall campaign to put in place, however, as the Trans-Valley League honorees were recognized recently for excellence in their sports.
In Golf, Madison Kindberg was named the league’s MVP and Mary Adams was an All-TVL section.
Volleyball honors went to All-TVL players Brielle Arauza, Hannah Murphy, Tiana Lopez and Kaitlyn Herrera, while Meadow Naraghi received Honorable Mention.
For Cross Country, the honorees were medalists at the league meet, with Sam Fletcher, Juan Lopez, Gabe Romero and Jackie Lau all finishing in the top ten.
Football honors went to wide receiver Max Nicholas, Outstanding Receiver of the Year; running back Elliott Mello, Outstanding Back of the Year; inside linebacker Nash Satnat, Outstanding Linebacker; with other honorees as All-TVL players including offensive lineman Trent Cummings, running back Kaden Christensen, defensive lineman Jake Lewis, outside linebacker Lucciano Dutra and defensive back Estephan Salcedo.
Named as Second Team honorees were Eduardo Marrufo, Damien Tom, Guillermo Alvarez, Cuyler Crawford, Mark DeHaven and Hugo Alcala.
