An informational meeting regarding the weekly El Portal bowling league is set for Thursday, Sept. 8 at 9:15 a.m. at McHenry Bowl in Modesto.

The bowlers, who compete each week on the lanes, raise money for the El Portal Middle School Science Camp trips and last year donated $1,500 to the school to help finance the educational excursion.

If interested, plan to attend the 9:15 a.m. meeting on Thursday and stay to bowl, with the first week’s competition starting at 10 a.m.
