Modesto Junior College will host a men's Modesto 6 on 6 Soccer Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31 at the MJC West Campus Soccer Field on Blue Gum Avenue.
The team registration fee for the two-day, open tournament is $300. The final registration deadline is Wednesday, July 27. The minimum age for participation is 18 during the current calendar year and participants are guaranteed three games.
There will be a limited number of teams in the tournament and matches will feature 12 player rosters (6 vs. 6) with half and full size goals and 20 minute halves. Tournament rules include no offsides, all free kicks being direct, no throw-ins, and free substitutions. A tri-tip and linguini barbeque will be available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
