Recognized at the Spring Sports Awards night on May 19 as Escalon High School’s Coach of the Year was Chris Casazza, heading up the varsity girls golf program. He was cited for his work ethic and dedication in leading the team in a turnaround, the girls compiling a season that saw them go 9-3 in Trans-Valley League play and receive two First Team All-TVL selections.
