Dear Editor,

Many businesses and individuals in the community are to be thanked for their donations to and assistance with the recent Pancake Breakfast held by the Escalon Historical Society at Applebee’s on Claribel Road in Riverbank. Businesses donating drawing prizes included BBVA Compass Bank, Oak Valley Community Bank, Vineyard Pharmacy, and P & L Concrete and Garden Center. Individuals donating prize items included an Avon representative and several members of the Escalon Historical Society.

Applebee’s is to be commended for allowing and encouraging nonprofit groups to conduct fundraising breakfasts at their restaurants. The breakfast was enjoyed by many and perhaps more so by those winning prizes!
