Geno Nimocks

William Eugene Nimocks, “Geno” passed away peacefully on March 25, 2016 in Modesto at the age of 81. Geno was born on May 4, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to Albert and Leta Nimocks. Geno has been a resident of the Escalon area for the past 51 years. Geno was the best husband a woman could ask for. He accepted his loving wife, Shirley into his life 54 years ago, taking on the responsibility of three step children, with all the love and guidance a father could give. Then Geno and Shirley were blessed with another child, which completed their family.
Through the years, Geno has been the husband, father, grandfather, mentor and friend to all of his loved ones. With patience, stability, care and concern, he took care of all who knew him. He is deeply loved by all and will be missed greatly. But his lessons, thoughts and love will always be remembered by all who knew him.
Geno leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Shirley Nimock, his children, Kathy Marshall (Jon) of Modesto, Karen Cammarata (Doug Scott) of Brookings, OR, John Cammarata (Deanne) of Myrtle Creek, OR and Gene Nimocks (Laurie) of Riverbank. Geno also leaves behind his 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Geno’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
