Wilber Leedom

Wilber Leedom, 89, of Escalon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.

Born near Stahl, MO on Dec. 19, 1922, he was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving six years. He was also a member and Past Master of Escalon Masonic Lodge #591.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Neva Leedom; four children, Harry (Diana) Leedom of O'Fallon, MO, Larry (Vivian) Leedom of San Diego, Garry Leedom and Jane (Robert) Mericle of Escalon; nine grandchildren, Tracy Sweazey, Alexander Leedom, Christopher Leedom, Jennifer Leedom, Shauna Arnold, Gregory Leedom, Heather Armstrong, Ryan Leedom, and Michael Leedom; three step grandchildren Julie Kennedy, Paul and Gretchen Otto; 13 great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Services at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the LDS Church, 1111 East A St., Oakdale. Burial will be at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine, CA.
