Thomas Gonzales, 70, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012.

He was born on April 7, 1942.

Mr. Gonzales lived in Confidence, CA for over 20 years, and was born and raised in Escalon. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and especially camping. He was also a proud member of the Moose Lodge for over 10 years.

Traditionally, he and his family would go to stay at their cabin in Strawberry, CA every summer, and even some holidays. He always loved spending quality time with his family. He will be forever missed and always remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years Judith Porter; his children Brian Franks of Escalon, Thom Gonzales of New Jersey, Shawna Bellotta of Salida, and Lindy Broome of Oakdale; grandchildren Jeffrey, Christian, Cody, Jacob, Cole, Lily, Alli, Alex, Johnny, Isabella; his only great-grandchild Izabella; and his brother William Gonzales of Escalon.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Laura Gonzales, and his brother Gene Quistini.

Deegan Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, May 15 at Burwood Cemetery, River Road, Escalon.
