Theresa Beeler, 80, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 with family by her side. She was born on Nov. 15, 1930 in Modesto and had been a resident of Ripon for 60 years.

She enjoyed doing needlepoint, making latch hook rugs, reading, and playing the Swiss card game of Jass with friends and family. She was also on a bowling league. She sang as a member of the SJV Swiss Echoes for 50 years. She also played the piano with Swiss Bands for dances and parties in various locations in CA, WA, OR, and also on a couple of cruises. She was a member of the SJV Swiss Club and St. Patrick's Church.

Her greatest love was her family who she devoted her life to. She was a loving and caring person who touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her children Joe and Theresa Beeler of Ripon, Margaret (Gigi) and Allen Ming of Escalon; daughter-in-law Diana Beeler of Ripon and Anna Smartt of Ripon; siblings Frank and Elinor Aufdermaur of Ripon, Margarite and Ron Bauer of Montana, Carl and Carol Aufdermaur of Stockton, Ann Mary and Steve Critchlow of Utah; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph and their sons Frank and Ernest.

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 6 at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. Her Rosary-Mass Funeral was Monday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church with burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
